These “Mommy and Me” classes are for one adult and child, ages 18 months to age 5. Any adult… Mom, Dad, Grandma, Grandad, Aunt, Uncle, Friend may join the child.
Two age groups are offered.
18 months to 3 year olds & 3 to 5 year olds. Age 3 can join either group. If your three year can old hold a crayon and draw, sort, and follow a one step direction the older class would be a good choice.
Each art class is designed to help increase creativity and problem solving skills in young children through fun art activities.
In our “Mommy & Me” Art Class, your child will explore a variety of art materials, experience new textures, improve fine motor skills, and enjoy being creative in a group setting.
Each lesson is developed to expose the children to an element of art, new art material and basic art skills, all while having fun.
Classes are small. Limit of 6 students and 6 adults.
Four Classes are offered during the winter of 2024.
What Do Snowmen Do At Night Class – Monday, February 5th
The Smallest Penguin Class – Monday, March 4th
The Dancing Giraffe Class – Monday, March 25th.
Caterpillars Eat A Lot Class -Monday, May 6th
Classes are held on Monday Mornings from 9:00 – 9:45 am & 10:30 – 11:15 am.
The price of $ 125.00 includes all four classes.
Following are the options
Mondays from 9:00-9:45 for the 18 month – 3 years
Mondays from 10:30 -11:15 for the 3-5 years
Full Saturdays from 9:00-9:45 for the 18 month – 3 years
Full Saturdays from 10:30 -11:15 for the 3-5 years
These classes are 45 minutes long. Please do not bring any snacks, drinks are welcome. One adult must accompany the child. If you desire to bring a second adult for one child, please email, to see if there is room.
If you are looking for only one class, please contact Lancaster Art Room the week before the class to see if there is a seat. The cost of one class is $36.00 and can be paid the day of.
