About The Class
Our next 6 week Landscape Oil Painting Class begins Tuesday evening, April 30, 2024 6:30-8:30 pm
This oil painting class is a landscape painting class and will explore the basics of oil painting techniques. As a beginner you will be taught the skills necessary to paint a landscape picture. As a seasoned painter, this class will give you the opportunity to learn from a different instructor and enjoy the company of other students in relaxed atmosphere. If you are repeating the class, feel free to explore a different subject matter for the class. Bring your ideas and pictures with you to the first class.
This class is designed to help students execute a landscape of their choosing, focusing on composition, perspective, color mixing, and painting techniques. Students will use photographs or prints as source material for their painting. Each student will provide at least one picture to work from. Bring a few if you can not decide. The picture could be a photograph or calendar picture of a landscape. Group and individual instruction is given during each session.
All art materials are included in the cost of this class. Each student will be provided with one canvas, 9 x12 or 10 x 10 canvas.
Cost: $220 per person
Our NEXT SESSION Begins Tuesday, April 30. The class will run for 6 consecutive weeks.
An open studio time is available to painting students every Thursday evening 6:30 – 8:30 pm.
