Lisa is a mixed media artist and instructor. She is a former HS art teacher, and currently teaches workshops and art classes to all ages around Lancaster County.  Lisa holds degrees in Art Education and a Master’s in Art Education.

Inspired by everyday life, Lisa’s colorful artwork contains layers of various mediums such as Gelli Plate prints, collage, acrylics, inks, and lettering.

Lisa wishes to inspire the creative spirit in others. These workshops are designed to have FUN while unleashing your creativity.

NEW “Gelli Joy”- Botanical Printmaking

 

Gelli Printmaking is a form of printmaking in which acrylic paints are applied to flexible printing plates of gelatin using a brayer. In this fun and playful workshop, you will use leaves, feathers, even weeds to be create beautiful mono prints.

We discuss color, composition, and how certain botanicals show up on the gel plate. Gelli printing is addicting and you will leave inspired, with many one-of-a-kind prints!

“Journal Making”- Workshop

 

Create a handmade Journal.  Bring a friend and plan some FUN and easy creativity. Lisa will demonstrate how to take cardboard and transform it into a beautiful, one-of-a-kind book.  We’ll learn how to make a cover, create paper signatures, assemble with a non-stitched binding, and embellish the spine.

Your completed journal will not only provide a place for you to plan, reflect, and create, they make AMAZING gifts as well.
