About The Class
We are changing to an eight week session instead of a six week session!
Learn the art of hand building pottery using the slab technique, which allows a wide range of shape, form and texture. This method is very different from the traditional potter’s wheel.
Lancaster Art Room just added two potters wheels for class participants to try.
This class is for both beginners and the seasoned clay artist. Each week instruction will be given on different skills and assistance in developing individual projects. Each participant will receive 20 pounds of clay to work with, and choice of a variety of glazes, which should make 5-6 projects depending on the size of each project. Age restriction, High School and older please. Call me if you have an age or ability question.
Cost – $295.00, all materials and firing included.

Thursday Evenings, 8 weeks, 6:30 – 8:30 pm
An open studio time is available to clay students every Tuesday evening 6:30 – 8:30 pm if you sign up for the Thursday Clay class
