DESCRIPTION:The classes will be taught by a certified K-12 art teacher with degrees in Art Education\, Fine Art\, and a Master of Education. The class will have a maximum of 10 students. \nThese Home School Art Classes will now be eight week sessions instead of six week sessions starting in 2025. \nEach grade group will do a clay project and a painting project. Their third and forth projects will be selected by the class. The choices range from fiber arts\, drawing\, paper crafts\, pastels and sculpture. \nClasses for  Grade 2 – Grade 4 – Wednesday mornings 10:00 – 11:30 am \nClasses for Grades 3 through Grade 6 – Friday 9:00 – 10:30 am \nClasses for Middle School – Friday from 10:30 – Noon

SUMMARY:Adult Oil Painting-Landscape
DESCRIPTION:This oil painting class is a landscape painting class and will explore the basics of oil painting techniques.  As a beginner you will be taught the skills necessary to paint a landscape picture. As a seasoned painter\, this class will give you the opportunity to learn from a different instructor and enjoy the company of other students in relaxed atmosphere. If you are repeating the class\, feel free to explore a different subject matter for the class. Bring your ideas and pictures with you to the first class. \nThis class is designed to help students execute a landscape of their choosing\, focusing on composition\, perspective\, color mixing\, and painting techniques. Students will use photographs or prints as source material for their painting. Each student will provide at least one picture to work from. Bring a few if you can not decide. The picture could be a photograph or calendar picture of a landscape. If you bring a picture\, from your phone\, book or internet\, please print it out to an 8 x 10 in color.  Group and individual instruction is given during each session. Because we are moving to a eight week session\, students could do two paintings. \nAll art materials are included in the cost of this class. Each student will be provided with one – two canvases\, (9 x12 or 10 x 10).

DESCRIPTION:This Class is two sessions\, 4 hours total. Two Saturdays or Sundays in a row. \n\n10:00 am – 12:00 noon  Or  1:00 pm – 3:00 pm (Check the time and date when registering)\n$50.00 per person\nAge restricted to 6+\, class size is 10 people max.\nAll supplies including tools\, clay and glaze are included.\nClay is dirty\, bring an art shirt or apron to wear.\nClay projects will not be ready to go home until dried and fired. You will be contacted when you can pick-up.\n\nThis multi age class is the perfect opportunity for a couple of friends\, couples or parent/grandparent and child to get your hands dirty and learn a new skill.
